Nitrous oxide to be banned in the UK
The UK government plans to ban nitrous oxide.
This is what the minister Michael Gove says during Sunday morning, reports Sky News.
The reason is that they want to counter “anti-social behaviour”.
– It can destroy lives, he says.
He does not yet know what type of drug nitrous oxide will be classified as.

Ukraine: Russia holds ‘nuclear hostage’
President Vladimir Putin announced yesterday that Russia plans to place ten warplanes – which can be armed with nuclear weapons – in Belarus.
Which is a way for the country to hold Belarus as a “nuclear hostage,” wrote Oleksiy Danilov, head of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, on Twitter.
Putin claims that the construction of the weapons will be completed by the first of July this year, TT reports.
The president is said to have also stated that the weapons will not be transferred to Minsk. And that Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has approved the plans.
Region Västernorrland bans Tiktok
Region Västernorrland bans the Tiktok app on employees’ phones and computers, reports SVT News.
Earlier in March, Region Blekinge also announced that the app had been banned from employees’ work phones.
– This is one of several measures that we need to take in order to meet the threat posed to us as an actor in Sweden’s public preparedness and total defense, said Stefan Österström, head of security at Region Blekinge, to SVT News then.
Aggressive man and armed woman on train
During the night, the police were alerted about an aggressive man who had beaten two people on board a train.
When the train stopped in Surte, the police stepped on to check the man.
He was also in the company of a woman. When the officers also checked her, it turned out that she was armed with a gun-like object.
Both people were then taken into police custody.
The man is suspected of assault, drug crime for own use and weapons crime. The woman is suspected of drug offenses for personal use and weapons offences.
LO on Coop: “Forgot its role”

Car caught fire – twice
A car caught fire at an address in Västerås shortly before midnight.
According to the emergency services, the police were parked in such a way that the fire spread to another car, a moped and a carport.
At 07:23 on Sunday, the police announced that the car that burned during the night had started to burn again. This time without the risk of spreading.
According to the police, it is unclear what type of crime the incident will be investigated as.
People swam out to the island in pond – suspected of drug offences
Shortly before 01:00, the police were called to a pond in central Uppsala after a man “ran or swam” out to a small island in the middle of the pond.
It was the security guards – from a nearby nightclub – who alerted the police because they suspected that the man used drugs.
“When the man, who is in his 20s, finally gives up and makes it back to land, the man is taken into custody and taken for a physical examination,” the police write on their website.
The 20-year-old is now suspected of minor drug offences.
Big fight in Ronneby
During the night, four people were taken into police custody after a large fight broke out at an address in Eringsboda in Ronneby municipality.
The police used pepper spray to take control of the situation, the authority writes on its website.
The fight is being investigated as assault, but according to the police, more criminal classifications may be added when the incident is investigated further.
Several cars on fire
The police are investigating a suspected arson related to a car fire outside Kalmar.
Shortly after 04:00 the police and emergency services were called to the address. They were then able to ascertain that the fire had spread and that a total of seven cars had been damaged.
Three men are suspected of stabbing a taxi driver
Three men are suspected of having robbed a taxi driver in Helsingborg during the night.
The men allegedly took the taxi to an address where they robbed the driver of cash before fleeing the scene on foot.
According to information given to the police, the taxi driver should not have been in need of emergency medical care.
Honduras breaks with Taiwan
Honduras’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that the country is cutting formal ties with Taiwan.
Honduras has until now been one of only 14 countries to have diplomatic relations with Taiwan, but announced in mid-March that it was establishing relations with China. That Honduras now breaks with Taiwan is thus expected, as China does not accept that countries have relations with both Beijing and the government in Taipei.
Taiwan recalled its ambassador to Honduras this week. (TT)

Saw that there were 2 copper thieves in Värmdö, is there a special brand they are after, have warned my old mother who saves on copper to hide both cups and dishes so don’t open to anyone she doesn’t know

Hi Bengt! We also initially thought about what kind of copper it could be that the thieves tried to steal – but it was the metal copper, and not copper that you drink from, that the thieves were targeting in this case.
Hi.. wondering how the 16 year old girl who went missing.. kidnapped.. has she been found? Haven’t read anything more about her than that they were looking for and want help to find her.. possibly on her way to Denmark..
