  • Knifeman arrested after square brawl

    A 35-year-old man has been arrested after threatening and assaulting another man at Frölunda square in Gothenburg.

    At 3:44 p.m., there was an alarm about a drowning in a public pool at Segevång in Malmö.

    There must have been a lot of people on site when the rescue personnel got there, the police write on their website.

    A smaller child was taken care of by paramedics and has been taken by ambulance to hospital escorted by police.

    The police have no information on the extent of the damage.

    Exotic snake found outside store

    A metre-long snake has been found outside a shop in Skärplinge outside Tierp, reports SVT Uppsala.

    – Of course I had respect when I saw it. I thought it was a coral snake. When the police told them that it was harmless, everything was calm, says the florist Sara Söderberg who found the snake.

    The red and black-striped milk snake has been taken into care by the police and has now found a new home at Skansen-Jonas.

    – The police came with a small cardboard box with breathing holes in it. Then they went to Skansen, says Sara Söderberg.

    Where the snake came from is currently unclear.

    Alarm about drowning in Värmland

    The police have received an alert about drowning at a swimming area at a campsite in Värmland, states SVT Värmland.

    – It was a man in the water who called for help, says Lars Hedelin, police spokesperson.

    Emergency personnel performed CPR before the man was taken to hospital by ambulance.

    Coop has communicated in its social media that “The goods that Mondelez sells to us are not produced and do not contain raw materials from Russia. Marabou is manufactured in Sweden. We are in dialogue with Mondelez about the situation and are closely monitoring developments.”

    Several local Ica dealers have stopped selling Mondelez. But I have not seen any statements from Ica or Axfood from central sources.
