Four to hospital after single-vehicle accident
The alarm about the traffic accident came to SOS Alarm at 02.45, reports the GP.
It happened on a road between Hyssna and Bollebygd.
The car must have overturned and was on its roof when emergency personnel arrived at the scene.
Four people had to be taken to hospital after what the emergency services describe as a rather serious accident.
The driver, who is under 18, is suspected of a number of crimes. Among other things, drunk driving, carelessness in traffic and illegal driving.
Villa completely destroyed by fire – woman to hospital
An 85-year-old woman has been taken to hospital in connection with a fire in a villa in Älvkarleby.
The alarm about the fire came at 04.43.
When the emergency services arrived at the scene, the villa was engulfed in flames and they worked to prevent the spread to nearby houses, writes UNT.
The woman was in the house when the fire broke out but only suffered minor injuries.
Car driven into house facade – two people to hospital
A car has driven into a house facade in Örebro. The police were alerted to the incident at 11.25pm on Thursday.
Two people have been taken to hospital with unclear injuries.
There is no suspicion of crime, the police write.
The government and SD: Parents get more time with their newborn child
The number of double days, days that both parents can take at the same time, is doubled from 30 to 60. This is written by Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, Minister of Energy and Food Ebba Busch (KD), labor market and integration minister Johan Pehrson (L) and party leader Jimmie Åkesson (SD) in a debate article on Friday.
The government also wants to extend the time for withdrawal from one year until the child is 15 months old.

Man found injured outside – suspected attempted murder
A man has been found seriously injured outside in Skövde just before ten o’clock on Thursday evening, reports P4 Skaraborg.
The injured man’s condition is unclear, but he has been taken to hospital.
The police are investigating the incident as an attempted murder.
No one has been arrested.
Villa heavily damaged in fire
A villa in Dalsjöfors in the municipality of Borås started to burn during the night towards Friday. The emergency services were called at 00.45 and arrived at a fully developed fire.
An hour later it was under control.
– The cabin is still standing, but it is quite badly burned, says Niklas Ignell, interior commander at the rescue service, to GP.
No people were injured in the fire which, according to the fire service’s information to GP, is suspected to have been caused by an electric boiler.
One to hospital after accident
One person was taken to hospital after a traffic accident on 1627 between Hyssna and Bollebygd at 02.45.
The car ended up on the roof, but according to the police, the injuries are minor.
– There were four people in the car. One of them received injuries to the face, but it was not as serious as it first sounded, says Magnus Schildt, police officer on duty.
The driver is suspected of drunken driving, negligence in traffic and causing bodily harm.
Shooting at residence
A residence in the Gryta area in Västerås was fired upon around midnight.
– People were in the home at the time. But no one should have been injured, says an officer at the police’s regional command center to VLT.
A preliminary investigation into attempted murder and serious weapons crime has been launched. No one has been arrested, TT states.
Politician convicted of murder
A Peruvian conservative politician has been sentenced to twelve years in prison for involvement in a 35-year-old murder.
Daniel Urresti has, among other things, been interior minister, congressman and presidential candidate in Peru. In 1988, he was a military intelligence officer when the journalist Hugo Bustíos was killed in an act initially blamed on a communist militia.
Later, several soldiers were convicted of having carried out the murder in civilian clothes to stop Bustío’s reporting on the military’s abuses against the civilian population in Huanta province. (TT)
One shot in southern Stockholm
A person was found with a gunshot wound in Rågsved in southern Stockholm during the night towards Friday.
The police were alerted to explosions by residents at 00.08 and have a large operation in the area.
The shot person was found by an underpass.
– We are looking for perpetrators and securing the crime scene, says Carina Skagerlind at the police’s regional command center.
Cyclone moves in over Australia: “Seek shelter”

Cyclone Ilsa has struck across the northern part of Australia’s west coast, reports BBC.
Even before it hit land, vines had been measured at up to 79 meters per second.
It is described as the strongest cyclone to hit the country in 14 years and is feared to cause widespread devastation in communities across the Kimberly.
Emergency services have issued a warning to people between the Bidyadanga and Port Hedland areas and inland from Marble Bar to Nullagine, according to Australian News.com.au.
“It is a threat to life and home. You are in danger and must act immediately. Stay indoors. It is too late to leave”.
In the red, and worst affected, zone, people are asked to seek shelter immediately until the danger is over.
Florida bans abortion after six weeks

Today, Florida’s House of Representatives “clearly” voted to ban abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, making the state one of the most restrictive on the issue in the United States. It reports New York Times.
The decision will now be the end of Florida as a popular destination for women from all over the southern United States who have long traveled to Florida to have abortions. Now women may have to travel to North Carolina or Illinois instead.
In the six months since the Supreme Court struck down the federal right to abortion last year, no other state in the entire United States had as high a rate of legal abortion as Florida, according to a report released Tuesday.
Ron DeSantis, a likely 2024 Republican presidential candidate, has not signed the new ban yet, but has said he will, according to the newspaper.
Large police operation in Södertälje – police covert
The police have a large operation in Södertälje, but are tight-lipped about what it is about.
– It is connected to an investigative work, I cannot communicate more than that, says Per Fahlström, at the police press service.
Police helicopters have been circling over the city and several police patrols are out working on the case.
– There are quite a lot of patrols, says Fahlström.

A person has been found dead in a parking garage near the Stadium area in Malmö.
The police suspect that the person has been murdered and have launched a police operation at the scene, but otherwise do not want to comment on more details in the case.
– We cannot go into any details at the moment. There is of course a public interest because it is a public place. But we have some work to do within the framework of the preliminary investigation, says police spokesperson Rickard Lundqvist.
According to information to Aftonbladet, it is about a man who is suspected of having stabbed to death a woman with whom he had a relationship.
The parking garage must be monitored by cameras, which can help the police in the investigation.
– It is not unusual for there to be camera surveillance in parking garages, so it is something we are looking at, if it can give us important information.
