Many canceled trains – repairmen sick

today at 18.13 Nora Fernstedt

Illness and staff shortage mean that SJ is unable to repair several X2000 trains that have suffered damage, reports P4 Gothenburg.

It is, among other things, ice formation that led to the injuries.

During the next two weeks, several train departures between Gothenburg and Stockholm have been cancelled.

– This week there have been four canceled departures per day, about eight a day, says SJ’s press communicator Martina Nord to the radio channel.

Next week it is believed to be two canceled departures per day. SJ hopes that the problems will be solved in two weeks.

Until then, passengers are rebooked to other departures.

    – But it is important to make your own assessment and choose a different route in case of large water accumulations.
