Man stabbed – big effort at square

A 25-year-old man was found stabbed to death at Möllevångstorget in Malmö during the night of Saturday.

The police were alerted at 01:22 and sent several cars to the square.

The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.

– He was awake and talkative, says Henrik Hagström, police officer on duty.

A preliminary investigation into attempted murder has been opened. No one is arrested.

The police urge any witnesses to call 11414.

  • Alarm about detonation in Arlöv

    Several callers alerted the police after hearing a loud bang in Arlöv outside Malmö.

  • Man found dead – suspected murder

    A major police operation was underway at an address in Kävlinge during the afternoon.

    Now the police announce that a man has been found dead.

    “The circumstances surrounding the death are initially unclear and therefore need to be investigated,” the police write on their website.
