Man beaten with Christmas tree

A man was beaten up in Stockholm’s Old Town last night after trying to stop two men from tearing down a Christmas tree, reports Middle of.

The man is said to have asked the men to “stop the nonsense” when they started beating him with the Christmas tree.

The police were able to arrest one of the suspected men, according to the newspaper.

The man who tried to stop the men escaped without serious injuries.

    A 35-year-old man is now wanted in custody on suspicion of the murder of a woman in Kristianstad last Friday night.

    On Friday morning, the police were called to a student residence where the woman was found murdered.
