Man arrested after Youtube threat against Coop store
A man in his 40s has been arrested after making threats against a Coop store in a small town in western Sweden.
According to the police, at least one person raised the alarm after seeing the man make threats on his YouTube channel.
– At least one person has called in and expressed concern, says August Brandt, press spokesperson at police region West.
He does not want to go into the threats in detail, but that it meets the requirement that people must have felt serious danger and fear for their lives.
– There was a police operation and the person in question was arrested. There is an ongoing investigation into illegal threats, says August Brandt.
According to information to Aftonbladet, the task force was brought in and broke open the door to the man’s apartment.
The man is no longer arrested by the police.
– There are people who have expressed concern about it. But he is still being looked after, although not in police custody, says August Brandt.

Man dies after workplace accident
During the morning, a man was taken to hospital after a workplace accident at a transport company in central Kristinehamn.
During the afternoon, the police announced that the man, who was in his 30s, had died of his injuries.
Technicians are working at the scene of the accident and there are train stops through Kristinehamn while the police are working on the scene.
Relatives have been notified.
The spy brother admits: Did it for money
Peyman Kia, 42, was sentenced to life in prison in what has been called Sweden’s biggest spy scandal.
Now he admits parts of what he is accused of. And that there were financial motives behind it.

In the district court, Kia was sentenced to life in prison for espionage after sharing secret information with the Russian intelligence service GRU. His brother was sentenced to nine years and ten months in prison.
Before the appeal court proceedings, Peyman Kia has requested to speak with the Security Police.
After the train chaos – “special event” declared
The Swedish Transport Administration’s delay in informing about impending track works has led to major problems with booking train tickets.

The “hotel pyromaniac” on the run
A man who has previously been classified as dangerous has escaped from a locked forensic psychiatric ward in Falköping, reports The Express.
The man is said to have previously been known for serious threats against authority heads. Special security measures have been put in place around police chief Erik Nord, the newspaper writes.
The police are hunting the man who has previously been known as the “hotel pyromaniac” in the Skaraborg area and Gothenburg.
Among other things, he is said to have been convicted of setting three fires at the Gothia Towers hotel – hence the nickname “the hotel pyromaniac”.
The man is also convicted of threatening municipal staff and a former prosecutor. He threatened the prosecutor that it would be “brutally murdered in pieces”.
The man has previously been monitored by Säpo.
Dead woman found in Laholm – murder suspect released at large
During the night to Wednesday, the police were alerted to an address in Laholm. A woman was found dead there. A man was arrested on suspicion of murder and later arrested.

71-year-old man is charged with having spread information about military installations

27-year-old man sentenced to life after gang murder in Kalmar
A wave of violence hit Kalmar last year. Now a 27-year-old man is sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering a 25-year-old man in Ängö during the wave of violence, TT reports.
