Chief prosecutor Krister Peterson became well known to the Swedish people when he took over the Palme investigation.
And also heavily criticized for the way he put it down.
He is now retiring, the Public Prosecutor’s Office announces.
– I have always made sure to try to do the best I can, and it has gone reasonably well, so I have to be satisfied with that, says Peterson.
IN the press release interview he is asked if anything surprised him about the material.
– Yes. You can say that quite a few people were involved, and many documents and tips had been registered. But concrete investigative measures were something I lacked. People who should be of interest should have been interrogated “at the bottom”, but that had not happened. It surprised me that it looked like that.
The conclusion when the murder investigation was dropped was that Stig Engström, the so-called Skandian man, “could not be got around”.

Kristina
Hi Kristina!
Of course, here you can read about the digging.
I loved the excavation!
All my life I thought I’d end up in China if I dug straight through the earth, but now I know I’ll end up in the ocean off Antarctica instead, absolutely wonderful!
