American inflation is slowing down, writes TT.
The inflation rate amounted to 4.0 percent at an annual rate in May compared to 4.9 percent the previous month.
According to the Bloomberg news agency, analysts had on average expected inflation of 4.1 percent in May.
Today’s figure is seen as a heavy factor ahead of the interest rate announcement later this week from the American central bank, the Federal Reserve. The fact that inflation continues to moderate is interpreted as the Fed could take a break in interest rate increases to continue evaluating the effect of the new monetary policy.

In a comment to TT, he writes that he shares the Police Association’s view of the serious situation.
“But a commission with all parties in the Riksdag would risk slowing down and creating new deadlocks. We must be honest that several of the necessary measures that the government intends to take meet with opposition from several parties in the Riksdag,” he writes in the comment.

What is the point of opinion polls? More voters are unsure?? Don’t people have time to change both one; two and maybe five times. Before the next election??

Hello! Well, of course it is, a lot can happen. But the surveys can be seen as a temperature gauge of how people think the government is doing its job.
Where did the word tail go?

Just want to thank you for your patience. 99% of all questions of the type ‘why do you write so little/nothing about’ are answered with links to the news that YOU HAVE written about. Perhaps a little guide to how the ‘search function’ works would be good…? 🥴

Hello!
Yes, the search function is a bit tricky. The absolute easiest thing is to google what you’re looking for + Aftonbladet, then it’s usually easier to find 🙂
Why don’t you write anything about the knife attack against a child in Ängelholm that happened yesterday?
A crazed 35-year-old woman stabs a child under the age of 10 who sustains serious injuries.

Hey Ball! We wrote about this yesterday and soon we will report from the press conference that the police will hold.
Sometimes it’s so nice to let your thoughts go on something that isn’t about shootings, death, drought, inflation and war. To let the thoughts drift away and think about e.g. how many couples are still married after “Married at First Sight”. Haven’t seen a single episode, but still a little curious about that particular question. Do you at the editorial office have an answer?
Andreas B.
Hi Andreas! Yes, there is a lot of terrible happening right now. There are probably many who feel like you, that you need to distract yourself. I don’t know exactly all of them, but I know that no couples from 2022 kept the program. The Taco couple from 2021 have had a child and Maxine and Emil from the year before are still together. We usually do “So it went later” articles at regular intervals if you want to read more, including here and here (Plus articles).
