Loaded ambulance hit in roundabout
In a roundabout in Stockholm, an ambulance was hit on New Year’s Day, the police say.
When the accident occurred, a patient was in the vehicle. Neither the patient nor the paramedics were injured in the accident.

Injured man found in elevator
A man with stab wounds has been found in an elevator in an apartment building in Nynäshamn, the police write on their website.
A private person is said to have found the man just before 08:00 on Sunday morning.
Police and an ambulance were called to the scene and the man was taken to hospital.
At the moment, it is unclear how the man got the injuries.
– He has been injured with some sharp object. We have no suspects and we do not know the context in which this happened yet, says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson for the Stockholm police.
The incident is being investigated as attempted murder.
At least nine dead after New Year’s celebrations
At least nine people have died in connection with a New Year’s celebration at a shopping center in the Ugandan capital Kampala. This is stated by the country’s police.
Chaos and congestion reportedly occurred outside the mall after fireworks were set off. Five people died on the spot.
One death after avalanche in Scotland
