Linda Staaf will remain at Noa
After the turn of the year, Noa’s (National Operative Department) head of intelligence, Linda Staaf, would move to a position in the police unit at the Ministry of Justice.

The region: Have the children home from preschool
Yesterday, Region Uppsala went out and urged parents to keep children home from preschool to reduce the spread of the RS virus.
Now Region Västra Götaland is doing the same.

Many children affected by the RS virus have breathing difficulties and need hospital care.

ICA recalls kale – may contain listeria
ICA is recalling kale after it was noticed that it may contain listeria.

Unexpectedly low inflation in the US
Consumer prices in the US rose by 0.1 percent in November compared to October, according to statistics from the US Department of Labor, writes TT.
This can be compared with an average forecast among analysts of a price increase of 0.3 percent, according to the Bloomberg news agency.
Inflation in November, i.e. price development at an annual rate, thus fell to 7.1 percent. This can be compared with an average forecast among analysts of 7.3 percent and 7.7 percent in October.
It is the lowest figure since December 2021.
Operational disruption at Ica – affects card payments in stores
ICA has suffered from an operational disruption which means that customers may experience problems paying by card.
“Right now we have an internal operational disruption that affects card payments in store,” writes press officer Maria Elfvelin in an email to Aftonbladet.
ICA is currently working on solving the problem. There is no forecast for when the problem may be fixed.

The hostage taker in Dresden wanted to warn against Satanists
Saturday’s hostage drama in Dresden came to an end when the task force stormed a pharmacy. The hostage was freed and the 40-year-old hostage-taker was killed.
A number of details about the horror hours have emerged, write Picture.
Before the hostage-taking, the man murdered his 62-year-old mother with a shot to the head.
After the gun-wielding 40-year-old failed to force his way into Radio Dresden, he called in to a radio station in Leipzig. The man wanted to “speak live on the air” to protect people “from Satanists”, says Bild.
The 9-year-old boy who was taken hostage was taken by the 40-year-old and picked up by an acquaintance of the family.
Already shortly after the crime, the police established that the 40-year-old apparently suffers from mental illness.
Police fired service weapon during operation – one shot
A man has been shot in connection with an intervention in Arboga, reports TV4 News.
The police are said to have been in a residential area following an alarm that a person was unwell. After that, a serious situation must have arisen.
The suspect was also allegedly armed with a knife.
– Police are exposed to threats and in order to resolve this situation, police are forced to shoot, says Jonas Eronen, press spokesperson at the Central Police, to TV4 Nyheterna.
The shot man has been taken to hospital. At the moment, the extent of the damage is unclear.
The incident will be investigated by the police department for special investigations.

Hi Anna! The women are still in custody for the same suspicions – kidnapping, murder and breach of the peace of mind.
On Thursday, the prosecutor will request whether the detention period should be extended or not. At the moment, it does not seem that a possible prosecution will be brought until the beginning of next year.
