Intelligence chief Linda Staaf received a service weapon. A decision that her then boss Mats Löfving signed, writes DN.

    A 15-year-old boy has been stabbed at a school in Sala, writes TV4 Nyheterna.

  • New major fire in Russian shopping center

    A fire has broken out in a shopping center in the town of Balaschicha outside the Russian capital Moscow, TT reports and refers to local media.

    The news site Nexta writes that the building has collapsed due to the flames. They have also posted videos of black smoke billowing from the mall.

    According to Russian authorities, the fire started after a short circuit.

    Last week, one person died when a fire broke out in another Russian shopping center.

    The persons are also arrested for serious weapons offences.

    The police have no information that anyone has been injured in connection with the robbery.

    – There are a lot of crucial interviews to be done, with plaintiffs, witnesses and the suspects, says Jonas Eronen.

    The men were arrested in connection with the apartment.

  • Man wanted in custody for murder of woman

    A 35-year-old man is now wanted in custody on suspicion of the murder of a woman in Kristianstad last Friday night.

    – After questioning and technical investigative measures taken over the weekend, I have now requested the man be detained on probable cause on suspicion of murder, says Chamber prosecutor Malin Paulsson.

    On Friday morning, the police were called to a student residence where the woman was found murdered.

    The suspect was arrested the same day.
