IS leader killed – planned murder in Europe
A high-ranking IS leader has been killed in a US helicopter raid in Syria, reports say CNN.
According to the US military command Centcom, the leader was responsible for planning terrorist attacks in Europe and the Middle East.
Two other gunmen were killed in the raid, but no civilians were injured.
– Although they have been weakened, IS is still capable of carrying out attacks in the region, with the aim of striking outside the Middle East, says General Michael Erik Kurilla in a statement.

Customs has revealed a tangle where over 280 kilos of cannabis are suspected of having been smuggled into Western Sweden in postal packages from Spain. It is suspected that the extensive smuggling took place last summer.
Today, thirteen recipients and organizers are charged with serious drug smuggling.
– By making many smaller seizures that we were able to link to the same sender, we have seriously disrupted a criminal network. We have detained both suspected principals, a distributor and recipient of the narcotics, says Bertil Weingarten, operations leader at the Swedish Customs Administration’s Criminal Division West, in a press release.
The two principals are natives of Spain
They are suspected of having sent over sixty packages of cannabis.
The majority of recipients live in Gothenburg, Mölndal and the Kungsbacka tract and the majority of them were born in the 1990s.
The total value of the suspected smuggling amounts to around SEK 20 million in the drug category, according to the Swedish Customs Administration.
One to hospital after severe collision
At 4pm on Monday afternoon, two cars collided at Librobäck outside Uppsala.
– According to the indications we have received, it was a relatively strong collision, says police spokesperson Mathias Rutegård to TT.
At least one of the drivers was injured and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Large forest fire – several units on site
The emergency services were called to an area in Kungälv due to a forest fire.
According to the rescue service, it was an area of approximately 100 by 100 meters that was on fire.
Just before 6 p.m., the fire service announced that the fire was under control.
– The largest part of the fire is out, but there is no risk of spreading or further, says Johan Eklund, alarm and line operator.
Student found dead at junior high school
A student has been found dead at a high school in Luleå, reports P4 Norrbotten.
According to Maarit Enbuske, head of school at the municipality, it happened somewhere inside the school grounds on Monday.
The police are investigating the incident.
– We do not suspect any crime at the moment. Otherwise, I will not comment. It is still very early, says the police’s on-call preliminary investigation leader Dennis Danhall to Aftonbladet.

One of those who participated in the action was the politician Gudrun Schyman, former party leader of FI and the Left Party.
She is said to have stopped traffic carrying a banner with the text “Restore the wetlands”.
Stop on E4 after accident
An accident occurred on the E4 in Umeå shortly after 3 p.m.
According to SVT Västerbotten has a car collided with a warning car.
A car must be clamped in the center rail. It is currently unclear if anyone was injured.

The rescue service tells the newspaper that one of the lanes has been closed, and there is limited access at the scene.

SpaceX’s launch of the Starship rocket is halted due to technical problems, several media reports.
The announcement came just minutes before the planned postponement.
The rocket would have been the largest ever launched into space.
The unmanned craft was planned to take off from Boca Chica in Texas and fly over the Gulf of Mexico 100 kilometers above the Earth’s surface before landing in the ocean.
Taxi strike in Umeå – the economy is not working out
A strike among taxi drivers has broken out in Umeå on Monday, reports say The Västerbottens courier.
Approximately 45 drivers and riders testify about bad contracts and underpayment.
– We can no longer work. We feel pressured to drive several, several hours, says a taxi driver to VK.
The drivers testify that they can work for more than 300 hours every month, but still the finances do not add up.

The egg giant CA Cedergren stops all its deliveries of eggs, reports SVT Småland.
Last week there was yet another alarm about salmonella contamination at the egg producer’s packing plant in Fliseryd in Mönsterås, which is Sweden’s largest.
The eggs will now be heat treated and used for the product industry.

17-year-old boy is sentenced for murder in Kristianstad
A 25-year-old man was shot to death in Lyckans Höjd in Kristianstad last year.
But he was not the actual target, which emerged during the course of the investigation.
Now a 17-year-old boy, who was 16 at the time, is convicted of murder and receives closed youth care.
The boy is sentenced for having fired the shots that killed the 25-year-old.
The boy was also charged with attempted murder and preparation of murder but was completely acquitted.
Two more people, a 33-year-old man and a 27-year-old man who were charged with incitement to murder, have been fully acquitted.
A 22-year-old man who was acquitted of the charge of aiding and abetting murder is sentenced for weapons offences.

Concrete truck leaked concrete on track
A mishap with a concrete truck has stopped tram traffic in Majorna in Gothenburg, reports the GP.
The car has leaked concrete onto the tracks.
A witness told the newspaper that about 40 meters of the track was covered by concrete during its advance.
Stops on several lines have been withdrawn.
Problems in Handelsbanken’s app and internet banking
Handelsbanken’s customers are currently having difficulties logging into the app and the internet bank.
“We are working intensively to resolve this and apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you,” writes Handelsbanken.
It is unknown what caused the disturbance.
