The security police, Säpo, sees an increased risk for Russian illegals in Sweden, reports Sweden’s Radio Echo.
Illegals are spies who use hidden identities.
– These are people who are deeply undercover. As an ordinary citizen in Sweden. Maybe someone who speaks fluent Swedish or who acts like a Swede, says Daniel Stenling, Säpo’s head of counterintelligence, to the radio.
There are no confirmed illegals in Sweden at the moment.
– We look more at these structures linked to the fact that we realize that they will be more important for Russia in the future.

Crisis talks between Israel and Palestinians
After the recent unrest with several deaths in the West Bank, Israeli and Palestinian representatives are now meeting for talks, TT reports.
The crisis talks are being held in Jordan and they want to be able to prevent an escalation of the violence.
Representatives from the USA and Egypt will also participate.
Swordsman slipped during burglary – cut himself
A man armed with a sword tried to break into an auction hall in Mellerud.
When he was found by residents of the area, a commotion arose in the premises.
– Then the perpetrator threatened the resident with a knife and then he fled, says Hans-Jörgen Ostler, press spokesperson for the police region West to Gothenburg Post.
On the way out, the perpetrator slipped and cut himself on the sword.
However, he must have managed to escape from the scene.
– A report of attempted aggravated theft and attempted aggravated assault has been drawn up, says Hans-Jörgen Ostler.
Estonia disaster rescue leader dead
He led the rescue work after the Estonia disaster in 1994.
Now the rescue leader Commander Raimo Tiilikainen has died, aged 83, reports Ilta-Sanomat.
Tiilikainen served as commander of the Finnish Sea Guard between 1988 and 1994. After that he was a member of parliament for the Swedish People’s Party for one term.

The hacker group strikes again – now against Denmark
The hacker group Anonymous Sudan claims that they have attacked Danish hospitals.
“Some hospitals in Denmark have been attacked because the Koran has been burned, more will be attacked in the coming hours,” they write on Telegram.
Previously, the group has stated that they attacked Swedish companies, including airlines and hospitals.
Car and motorcycle in collision – one to hospital
A motorist and a motorcyclist are involved in a head-on collision in Högbo in Gothenburg.
According to information given to the police, the driver of the car, a 55-year-old woman, drove on the wrong side of the road and collided with the overturned motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, has been taken to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.
The woman is now suspected of negligence in traffic and causing bodily harm.
Fire in apartment building
Police and emergency services have been called to an apartment building in Norsborg in Botkyrka municipality due to a fire.
There is currently no information on whether anyone has been injured.
– The emergency services are currently working to fight the fire, says Pär Fahlström at the police.
Update 3 p.m.: The police announce that the fire has been extinguished and that a report of public dangerous negligence has been drawn up.
USA: The coronavirus probably leaked from a lab
The coronavirus likely leaked from a Chinese lab. This is stated by the US Department of Energy, writes The Wall Street Journal.
That’s according to a classified intelligence report recently submitted to the White House and members of Congress.
However, four other ministries, along with a national intelligence panel, still assess that the virus likely arose naturally.
The Department of Energy’s assessment carries weight, however, because the agency oversees networks of American laboratories that conduct advanced biological research, the newspaper writes.
SAS plane diverted – pilot sick
An SAS flight on its way from Bergen to Tenerife was diverted to Copenhagen after the pilot reported that he had fallen ill, reports VG.
– I don’t know exactly what is wrong with him, but I know that there is no drama involved. They have still been allowed to land in Copenhagen, PR manager Knut Morten Johansen tells the newspaper.
180 people are said to have been on the plane. After about an hour, the plane was able to take off towards more southerly latitudes again.
Head-on collision between car and truck
A truck and a car have collided head-on on the E45 north of Vittangi in the municipality of Kiruna.
Emergency services, police and ambulance have been called to the scene.
According to the police, it is a serious accident.
Dog attacked elderly woman
The police have been called to Kyrkbyn in Gothenburg after a Schipperke dog attacked a woman in her 70s.
The dog allegedly injured the woman in the leg, causing her to start bleeding and ruin her trousers.
After the attack, the dog owners must have left the scene and disappeared into a stairwell, the police write on their website.
The police later announce that they have questioned a dog owner and that a report of causing bodily harm has been drawn up.

A suspected dangerous object had been found and the mall was evacuated. The national bomb disposal unit was called to the scene and it was later determined that the object was harmless.
