today at 18.59 Emil Forsberg

One of the country’s largest egg producers, CA Cedergren, gets the green light after several salmonella outbreaks, reports the agricultural newspaper ATL.

This means that Easter’s dreaded egg shortage will not occur, the newspaper writes.

The Swedish Agricultural Agency was able to locate the infection in January and has since decided to heat treat them to ensure that they do not spread the salmonella further.
