Germany wants to see special court for Russian leaders

today at 18.23 Lukas Jacobson

A special court to prosecute Russian leaders for the war in Ukraine. That is what German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock suggests, reports The evening post.

In connection with a visit to the Dutch city of The Hague, she spoke about the matter.

The Hague is home to several international courts. But none of them today have the opportunity to judge the highest Russian leaders for the war.

Baerbock wants the court to be based on Ukrainian laws, even if it would be located outside the country.
