Försäkringskassan: “Vabbats for more children in 2022”
The number of sick days increased by 2.2 percent in 2022 compared to 2021, new statistics from the Social Insurance Agency show. In total, it is about 8.38 million working days in 2022 compared to 8.56 million in 2021.
The number of children for whom it was vacated increased from roughly 840,000 to roughly 903,000.
– We think we have seen a change in behavior throughout the country regarding vab after the pandemic. It means, for example, that it is no longer okay to send snotty children to preschool, says Niklas Löfgren, family financial spokesperson at Försäkringskassan, in a press release.

Going to test the wastewater at Arlanda after covid infection
The public health authority is to test the wastewater at Arlanda for corona in connection with the large covid outbreak in China.
– The value of such monitoring is above all being able to follow changes in virus levels and which virus variants dominate from entry to Arlanda over time, says Karin Tegmark Wisell in a press release.
In an analysis of the Chinese covid outbreak that the authority made on behalf of the government, the authority writes that the figures regarding the spread of infection, hospitalizations, deaths and virus variants are uncertain, but still does not believe that the outbreak will affect the situation in Sweden “significantly”.
Karin Tegmark Wisell emphasizes, however, that the pandemic is ongoing and that there is a risk of new waves.
– It is therefore very important that all countries together take global responsibility for the monitoring of covid-19 so that joint measures can be introduced when necessary.

Ikea recalls mirrors
Ikea is now asking its customers who own a “Lettan” mirror with a date stamp up to and including 2105 to stop using it.
This is because customers have reported mirrors that have fallen down when the wall fittings that attach the mirror to the wall have broken.
“There is a risk that the mirrors’ wall fittings may break. Ikea apologizes for any inconvenience this recall may cause,” writes Ikea in a press release.
The government is reviewing beauty laws
The new Beauty Act entered into force in the summer of 2021 to increase patient safety during cosmetic procedures. But media reports and supervision by the Inspectorate for Care and Care (Ivo) show so many shortcomings that the government now wants to give an authority an extra task to review whether the law’s effects are sufficient, reports Swedens radio.
Swedish companies that mediate cosmetic operations in other countries are not regulated in the Beauty Act because the treatments take place abroad.
– We are taking the initiative to follow up the law’s effects on patient safety. When we get the results, we will come back to what needs to be done, says Minister of Health Acko Ankarberg Johansson (KD), to the radio.
Damaged file caused flight stoppage in the US
On Wednesday, the US aviation authority FAA was forced to cancel all flight departures in the country due to a widespread system failure in Notams. It provides pilots with warnings and important information.
The FAA says the disruptions must have been caused by an error in a single file, reports NBC News.
“In our preliminary work, we have been able to trace the error to a damaged database file. At this time, there is no evidence of a cyber attack,” they write in a statement.

The police have started a preliminary investigation regarding attempted murder and grossly illegal threats. No one has been arrested.

Do we trust Paasikivi too much?
Leif
Difficult to answer Leif.
Lieutenant Colonel Joakim Paasikivi has a solid education and experience in the military, so he should be aware of the facts.
When it comes to analysis, he has a good foundation to stand on, but of course he can be wrong too. Just like everyone else.
If I say that Sweden is more of a NATO member country than Turkey, am I wrong then in reality in reality?
Mikael
Yes, you can probably say that you are.
Given that Turkey is a member of NATO and Sweden is not (currently).
What does an unpaid intern at TV4 expect, maybe not to clean but maybe not to be in the limelight either Or what do you think at AB, should you send out an intern on the “heavy” assignments? But you never answer, so we won’t know

Hey! The review shows that the production company Mastiff described the job as working with the television production itself, but that the reality was different. So it depends on what you promise. For example, if we have a trainee reporter, you will at least get to be a reporter. And as far as I know, they usually enjoy it.
