Father wanted in custody for murder of eight-year-old

today at 15.32 Anna Sjögren

On Sunday, an eight-year-old boy was found dead in a home in Luleå.

His father was rightly arrested on suspicion of murder. Now he is requested to be detained on probable cause, the higher degree of suspicion, writes SVT Nyheter Norrbotten.

– The father is questioned and denies any crime, but we believe we have a picture of what has happened, said prosecutor Lindha Strömberg on Tuesday.

According to the channel, it was the eight-year-old’s mother who called the police after the boy did not come home to her.

On Wednesday, the coroner’s statement about what caused the boy’s death came. According to Lindha Strömberg, the results indicate that the boy was exposed to crime.

Detention hearing is held at Luleå district court on Thursday.

The elderly, seriously ill patient was in the final stages of life, which was clear to the staff. But it is not yet completely clear how long the patient was in the emergency department before the decision to admit him to a care unit was made.
