  • Messy motor show – drunk driving and assault

    It has been noisy at the motor fair in Jönköping on Saturday.

    The police have had to remove about 10 people, about 25 have been taken into custody for high intoxication and two have been stopped for drunk driving.

    At the same time, three people have been arrested for assault, the police write on their website.

    During the night, the arrest was lifted but they are still suspected of the crimes.

    On Easter Eve, a youth party degenerated in Danish Humlebaek.

    An epa tractor and a car have collided on national highway 70 in Enköping, the police write on their website.

    One of the vehicles is suspected of having collided with the other from behind.

    The two drivers, a man in his 20s and a girl in his 15s, were taken by ambulance to hospital with unclear injuries.

    During Saturday evening, the police were alerted to a residential dispute in Osby.

    A man in his 40s kicked and punched two men in their 60s, each of whom was taken to hospital.

    He is also said to have hit on a woman in her 40s.

    The man, in turn, is said to have been beaten with some form of affection and also had to be taken to hospital.

    Two of the men were arrested and have now been arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault.

    Personal data of around 7.6 million subscribers of US mobile operator AT&T has been leaked on the darknet, along with historical data of 65.4 million former subscribers.

    The leak took place about two weeks ago and involves, among other things, social security numbers – a type of American social security number – registered until 2019, according to a press release from AT&T.

    The mobile operator – number three in the US market after Verizon Communications and T-Mobile – is still investigating how the data was leaked and it is not yet determined whether it came from AT&T or a subcontractor.

    AT&T — which has been under investigation by federal authorities since the carrier’s services were largely knocked out for several hours at one point in February — has since the leak ensured that millions of customers changed their passwords to protect them. They also offer some credit protection to affected customers.

    During Sunday morning, a fire started in the basement of an apartment building in Kinna.

    – It has been burning heavily and we have been inside with double smoke diving groups for quite a while, says Fredrik Lovén, officer on duty at the rescue service.

    The alarm came in at 05.15 and the rescue service has had seven units on site. The police and ambulance also went to the address.

    – The police had to evacuate the entire house, says Fredrik Lovén.

    At 06.40 the fire was extinguished.

    There are no reports of injuries and it is still unclear why the fire started.

  • Several injured after shooting in Indianapolis

    Several people have been injured in a shooting in downtown Indianapolis, USA, local media reports.

    The police have rushed to the scene and are urging people to stay away from the area.

    According to the proposal, which was first announced in February, the state will bear the costs of the most used contraceptives for the country’s nine million women of reproductive age, including birth control pills and so-called “morning after” pills.

    The proposal must be approved by the country’s provinces, which are responsible for healthcare.

  • Man arrested for attempted murder

    During the night of Sunday, a woman was beaten in Skara.

    The man and the woman have a relationship with each other.

    The alarm came in shortly after midnight and the assault must have taken place indoors.

    – He must have run from the scene but could be arrested outside in the immediate area, says Morten Gunneng.

  • Young man stabbed and humiliated

    A man in his 20s was attacked by two masked robbers when he was out walking near his home in Härryda just before 01:30.

    Although the man had no valuables on him, he was stabbed in the leg.

    – He is taken to a wooded area and stabbed twice. In addition, they have pulled his pants down, says Morten Gunneng, officer on duty at the police.

    The perpetrators are suspected of attempted robbery and are at large. The police response was delayed because the stabbed man did not have his phone with him and was able to raise the alarm immediately.

    The man has been taken to hospital, but is said to have been awake and able to speak after the incident.

    No suspect has yet been arrested.

  • Several killed in car bomb

    At least eight people were reportedly killed and another 20 injured when a car bomb detonated in the northern Syrian city of Azaz controlled by pro-Turkish forces on Sunday. This is stated by the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).

    The detonation took place at a market, according to SOHR, which adds that the death toll may rise.

    Since the war in Syria broke out in 2011, over half a million people have been killed and millions have been forced to leave their homes.

  • Snowmobile through the ice – two to hospital

    A man and a woman were taken to hospital for a check-up after walking through the ice with a scooter in Jämtland’s Locknesjön on Saturday evening.

    – They have come ashore and we are looking for them. It is difficult to get around in the area. They are cooled down but we are in contact with them, said Mikael Lundberg, internal commander at the rescue service, to Östersunds-Posten before the couple was found.

    The man and woman are in their 60s and are now suspected of aggravated drunk driving and aiding and abetting drunk driving, the police told the newspaper.
