Explosion at the gate – bomb technicians alerted
Police and emergency services were called a few minutes before 01 to an industrial area on the outskirts of Helsingborg after calls about a loud bang.
On site, damage to a gate and blown out window panes were discovered.
– There has been a detonation at a company building. We are waiting for bomb technicians and forensic technicians, says Peter Martinsson, police officer on duty.
There are no reports of injuries in connection with the explosion.

Quarrel in apartment – one seriously injured
The police were alerted on Friday evening to an apartment in Gothenburg by neighbors when a fight between two men degenerated, writes Gothenburg Post.
One of the men had severe head injuries, likely cuts, and was bleeding profusely. The other man is also injured, although not as seriously. Both men were taken by ambulance to hospital, says police spokesperson Stefan Gustafsson to GP.
The men are suspected of attempted murder and aggravated assault.

USA: New Chinese balloon found
Another Chinese spy balloon has been found over Latin America, according to Pengaton.
– We see reports of a balloon on its way through Latin America. We now assess it as another Chinese surveillance balloon, says press secretary Patrick Ryder to CNN.
The Pentagon does not specify which country the new balloon is over, but says it does not appear to be headed for the United States.

Elon Musk acquitted of suspected fraud

A California jury has acquitted Tesla CEO Elon Musk of fraud charges after he tweeted about buying Tesla out of the New York Stock Exchange, CNBC reports.
Musk posted the post in 2018, tweeting that he was considering taking Tesla private for $420 per share, that there was investor support and capital was secured, reports CNBC.
Several investors sued Musk, accusing him of causing them financial loss as the stock soared and then crashed.
One injured and one dead in apartment fire
One person has been injured and one has died in connection with a fire in an apartment building in Vännäs.
The injured person has been taken to hospital.
Police, emergency services and an ambulance rushed to the scene at 6 pm on Friday evening after an alarm about the development of smoke.
The police have drawn up a report regarding public negligence. There are no suspects at this time.
Relatives have been notified.
EU introduces price ceiling on Russian oil products
The Council of the European Union has agreed on a price ceiling for Russian oil products.
The price caps consist of two categories, one for petroleum products sold below the price of crude oil with a price ceiling of $45 per barrel and one for petroleum products sold above the price of crude oil, $100 per barrel, according to a press release from the Swedish government.
– The new sanctions hit hard against Russia’s ability to finance its ruthless war of aggression. By making the export of petroleum products more difficult, the Russian war fund is reduced, says Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.
Fire in apartment building in central Stockholm

Emergency services, police and ambulance have been alerted to a fire in an apartment building on Kungsholmen in Stockholm.
– We are there. Rescue services are responsible for the work. There is some kind of smoke development and fire at the address and people have got out, says Fredrik Nylén, officer on duty at the Stockholm region police.
It is not yet known if anyone was injured.

Action after loud bang: “Nothing found”
The police went out to Sundbyberg on Friday evening after an alarm about an explosion.
Several police patrols and a helicopter searched the area.
– We have had a number of patrols on site, but have not found anything, says the police officer on duty, Fredrik Nylén.
2,000 arrested for prohibited child marriages
In northeastern India, around 2,000 people have been arrested in a crackdown on banned child marriages, TT and AFP report.
The operation has been ordered by the state’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma who also appealed to the public to help “eradicate the evil phenomenon”.
Around 220 million women have been married off as children. The number of children exposed has decreased in India in recent decades.
According to police chief GP Singh, many girls are forced to marry from the age of 12, even though it is illegal to marry if you are under 18.
Fire in apartment building
The emergency services in Helsingborg have been alerted to an apartment fire.
– We received an alarm from a person about a fire in his apartment. The person was able to get out himself and we have now extinguished the fire and are now checking that it has not spread further in the property, says Tobias Aldgård, officer on duty at the Skåne Nordväst rescue service.
According to the police, a person is being examined by an ambulance.
Italian mafia man found – worked in French pizzeria
Suspected double murderer and mafia member Edgardo Greco, 63, has been arrested in France, reports Tend.
He has been on the run for 17 years after being sentenced to life in prison for a double murder in which two men were beaten to death in a fish shop in 1991. The bodies have never been found.
Edgardo Greco escaped from custody and has been internationally wanted by Interpol. Now he has been arrested in France and has been running a pizzeria for a few years now and goes by the name “Paolo Dimitrio”, according to The Guardian.
He is also accused of attempted murder and is said to have been part of the notorious Ndrangheta mafia organization in Calabria, southern Italy.
“Dead” woman was gasping for air in a body bag
A 66-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s disease was pronounced dead at a nursing home in Iowa, USA.
But she wasn’t dead.
Relatives received the death notice and staff at the residence put the woman in a body bag. The funeral home came to the scene and picked up the woman.
But when the undertaker later opened the body bag, he discovered that the woman was alive, reports say CNN.
The woman’s chest moved and she gasped for air. The undertaker raised the alarm and the woman was taken to hospital.
At the emergency department, it turned out that the woman was breathing but could not be contacted. She was taken to hospice and died the next day with her family by her side.
The incident has been reported and according to an initial report, the nurse should have examined the woman at the residence and judged her to be dead. The accommodation is now heavily criticized and risks a fine of just over 100,000 Swedish kronor.

Freedom of expression and freedom of demonstration are constitutional rights in Finland as well. But the Finnish National Police Board tells the news agency STT that similar protests cannot be approved in Finland.
It would be considered a crime against the peace of faith to burn the Koran.
