Coop recalls even more eggs

today at 19.21 Josefine Karlsson

Coop expands its recall of eggs.

“The reason for the recall is that the goods may contain salmonella,” writes the food giant.

The recall applies to “Coop Egg Free-range 12-pack”, “Coop Egg Free-range 24-pack” and Xtra Egg Free-range 15-pack”.

The food giant writes in a press release which best-before dates the revocation applies to.

“Coop takes the incident very seriously and is investigating with the supplier how this could have happened. The goods can pose a health hazard, but when heated to 70 degrees, the salmonella bacteria dies,” writes Coop.
