Baudin about Botkyrka: Investigating names
This weekend, a majority of the members of the Social Democrats in Botkyrka voted out the chairman of the municipal board, Ebba Östlin.
According to information to Aftonbladet, people with connections to criminal gangs attended the meeting.
Earlier, the Social Democrats’ party secretary Tobias Baudin said that they were unable to investigate the information. But now he turns the question around.
– We received a name yesterday, we will now do what we can to get to the bottom of it, said Baudin when he was interviewed in P1 Morgon.
Demirok’s boot against Busch
During his installation speech at the Center’s municipal days, Muharrem Demirok gave a boot to the Christian Democrats’ Ebba Busch, who often talked about investments in the “heartland”.
“Investments on jobs are conspicuous by their absence. Instead, taxes are raised on hiring and a wet blanket is placed on investments in biofuel. In fact, KD’s policy risks giving the heartland a heart attack.
Ebba Busch can try to talk away the best she wants. But the fact is that the electricity subsidy did not reach the households ‘in good time before Christmas’ as promised”.
He also got personal when he talked about how his pulse still rises when he rides the subway past a place at Gamla Stan where skinheads used to gather in the 80s and 90s.
“As a result of purposeful work, the police succeeded in pushing back the wave of Nazism and racism that swept over Sweden in the 90s. But they are still there, even if some have changed into costumes and some walk in nice corridors. Right-wing extremist forces are once again gaining ground, and that scares me,” says Demirok.

Muharrem Demirok has been elected as the new party leader in the Center Party and has given his installation speech during the Center’s municipal days. There he talked, among other things, about his background, and writings that annoyed him:
“It probably surprised no one that the right-wing trolls on Twitter had Christmas Eve when a secular Muslim with a father from Turkey was proposed to lead the Center Party. But there have been many questions about my background and my citizenships recently. It has actually crawled under my skin, there is no other way to say. My background and intentions have been questioned”
He also talked about how he was throwing away his future:
“Everything my parents were proud of I was destroying,” he said.

Yesterday, Lee announced that Hong Kong will give away 500,000 free flights to tourists.

Hey Johnny!
Freedom of expression and freedom of demonstration are constitutional rights in Finland as well. But the Finnish National Police Board tells the news agency STT that similar protests cannot be approved in Finland.
