  • There is no information anywhere about how much it costs to join NATO… does it cost 20 billion or 50 billion a year… there must be an answer somewhere… you can’t join something without know what it costs….

    Lars Sjölund

    Hi Lars,

This is what it says on the government’s website: “Membership in NATO means, among other things, that Sweden is expected to contribute personnel to NATO’s political and military structures. In addition, Sweden must contribute to NATO’s joint budget with around SEK 600-700 million per year.

In addition, the stated goal of the alliance’s members is to use at least two percent of GDP for defense spending. It is already consistent with Sweden’s decided direction, where the ambition is for defense investments to amount to two percent of GDP in 2028. The alliance’s members also have an ambition to set aside at least 20 percent of defense spending for materiel, research and development.”

  • Tips for Nora Fernstedt regarding the translation of aircraft. Aircraft (a/c) should be translated as aircraft. In the transcript of the BBC article on the tragic helicopter crash in Australia, a/c translates to plane. No planes were involved in the accident. Only helicopters, which can be referred to as aircraft, but not planes. (Plan is only used for airplanes)

(Not so easy for a layman to keep track of, but now you know)

    Crap

Hey Kax! You’re absolutely right, it’s just helicopters, no planes.

Simply a thought throw – but now the notice is fixed. Thanks!

  • Why is it so quiet from the government about all these shootings in Stockholm.

Ulf K and Jimmy Å knew how to stop this before the election!

Was it like all the other promises?

Want to hear a statement from the Prime Minister.

    Marianne

    Hi Marianne,

The Prime Minister made a statement yesterday about the latest wave of violence and wrote, among other things:

“But hold on, don’t be cynical, don’t accept that “they shoot each other to death”. There are children and young people who could have had a nice life, whose lives are now extinguished or destroyed instead.

The policy against these gangs will therefore sound harsh and implacable. But we do it to save lives, so that mothers and fathers can cry at their children’s weddings, not at their children’s funerals. Do not forget it.”

  • Why do you ask Strömmer? Isn’t it better to ask the questions to those who caused the problems? Sad that you are so colored

    Boss

    Hi Boss,

I think you understand why we are asking questions of whoever is the Minister of Justice now, which of course does not preclude us asking questions of more politicians.
