A bus and a car have collided in Helsingborg. Police, emergency services and ambulance medical services are on their way to the scene.

The extent of the damage is still unknown, but according to the emergency services, the bus has been evacuated.

  • CSN is down

    CSN’s website crashed when the application for the transition study support reopened on Saturday afternoon.

    – We have done what we could to increase capacity. I see here that the site is down. I actually don’t know yet what it is due to, says Stefan Tärnhuvud who is press secretary at CSN.

    There is no forecast for when the problem will be solved.

    This is the second time that CSN’s website has crashed in less than a day.

    Update 14:28: The site is up and running again.

    – Now the applications are trickling in. It’s rolling, but it’s tough. Of course, there is a lot of pressure on the website. So far received 1700 applications, says Stefan Tärnhuvud.

  • Every fourth Swedish municipality bans Tiktok

    More and more regions and municipalities are banning the Tiktok app on the job mobile phone, reports say The TV4 news.

    The armed forces banned its employees earlier this week from having the app. This is because the Chinese ownership company is tied to the Chinese state.

    TV4 news has conducted a survey that shows that almost a quarter of all 178 municipalities and regions in Sweden answered that Tiktok is prohibited or impossible to install on work phones. Around 37 percent are investigating whether the app should be banned.

  • A car theft suspect arrested after police chase

    One person has been arrested after a police chase in Falköping municipality on Saturday night.

    – We receive an alarm about a person whose car and belongings have been stolen. Then our patrol sees this car and carries out a follow-up, says Johan Öst, station commander at the police.

    The suspected perpetrator, who is in his 20s, after a while dumped the car and tried to flee the scene.

    – We managed to arrest the man. He is suspected of, among other things, robbery and drunk driving, says Johan Öst.

  • Erdogan has approved Finland

    Now Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has approved the law ratifying Finland’s NATO membership, reports Helsingin Sanomat, which refers to state-run Turkish media.

    The Turkish parliament voted through the law late Thursday night, but Erdogan had 15 days to sign the document.

    Now the document will be handed over to the US State Department, where NATO’s founding treaty is located.

  • The municipal council deceived the media about reduced electricity prices – a day too early

    Lennart Gustavsson (V), municipal councilor in Malå, wrote in a press release on Friday that the residents of Malå will have their electricity prices reduced on 1/4, reports SVT News Västerbotten.

  • Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

    Shortly before 03:00, the police were alerted about an injured woman, aged 55, in the municipality of Sandviken.

    The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance with unclear injuries.

    Later in the night, the police arrested a 55-year-old man in a car. He is suspected of attempted murder.
