Zelensky to Brussels
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit the EU summit in Brussels on Thursday, Belgian reports VRT.

Man stabbed – suspected attempted murder
A man has been found injured in Sundbyberg.
– They had to call an ambulance. It seems that the person has been injured with some kind of care, says police spokesperson Rebecca Landeberg.
According to information to Aftonbladet, it is a man who has been stabbed. Something that was later confirmed by the police.
No one has yet been arrested.
– Right now we don’t have that much. We are trying to create a picture of what happened. The plaintiff is receiving hospital help and has not been able to be heard, says Rebecca Landeberg.
The police have opened a preliminary investigation into attempted murder.
People parachuted from Karlatornet
Two people have parachuted from Karlatornet in Gothenburg on Monday, reports say Gothenburg Post.
– This is an extremely strange event, says Serneke Group’s press manager Johan Live to the newspaper.
Karlatornet is a skyscraper under construction in central Gothenburg.
– As far as we could judge, they jumped somewhere between floors 50-65, approximately 170-200 meters up.
It is not known how the people got into the area and into the building. Serneke will report the incident to the police.
The US warns citizens in Stockholm
The US government warns its citizens in Stockholm of the risk of terrorist attacks after the Koran burnings.
Several measures are now being called for:

The police’s special operation in Stockholm is extended
About two weeks ago, the police started a special event and a special operation in Stockholm, with police called in from the rest of the country to assist in the work to tackle the wave of violence that has shaken the capital since the turn of the year.
Now the police announce that they are extending the effort until February 26.
– The decision was made last week, an assessment was made that it was needed, says Anna Engelbert, press spokesperson at the Stockholm Police.

Alarm about a fight – suspected serious crime
At 1 p.m., the police were alerted to an ongoing fight on S:t Persgatan in central Uppsala.
When the police arrived at the scene, suspicions were raised that a person had been the victim of a serious crime.
The police are tight-lipped about the incident and do not say what type of crime it is.
According to witnesses, a vehicle must have been seen in connection with the incident.
At 16.15 the police state that it was initially about a suspected kidnapping where a person would have been forced into a vehicle.
“After talking to witnesses and checking the vehicle, these suspicions could be written off,” the police write on their website.
The police are investigating the incident as an illegal threat.
Iltalehti: Finland ready for NATO without Sweden
Finland is ready to join NATO without Sweden, writes the Finnish newspaper Iltalehti.
The newspaper refers to sources within Finnish foreign and security policy.
– We are a border neighbor with Russia. Sweden’s geopolitical situation is completely different from ours, says a source.
– Turkey has no problem with Finnish NATO membership.
According to the sources, Finland’s party leader and President Sauli Niinistö have discussed the topic over the past week.
– We are ready, if Turkey only ratifies Finland’s membership.
Detention hearing interrupted – interpreter refused to give his name
On Friday, two men were arrested in an apartment in Falkenberg. According to information to Aftonbladet, the men are suspected of having locked and drugged three teenage girls in the home.
One of the men was arrested on Monday on suspicion of kidnapping and aggravated rape.
But the hearing about the other man had to be interrupted after a few minutes, reports Halland’s news.
The district court’s interpreter did not want to give his name so that the suspect could hear it. Which the president of the court did not agree to.
Later in the afternoon, it became clear that the other man was also arrested for aggravated rape and kidnapping.
Man arrested on suspicion of murder of woman
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a woman at Hisingen in Gothenburg.
The woman was found dead in a home earlier today.
According to the police, it was the woman’s colleagues who became worried, when the woman did not show up for her job during the day.
The police also met the man in the residence who was arrested on the spot.
Police have cordoned off the apartment and a technical investigation is to be carried out. Several seizures have been made on the spot and the police have started knocking on doors in the area.
Police investigate serious weapons crime – shell casings found on Södermalm
On Monday, the police received an alarm that casings had been found on Södermalm in Stockholm.
On site, the police were able to determine that there were empty casings and chose to block off an area for a technical investigation.
The police have now launched a preliminary investigation into serious weapons offences.
House fire in Bromma
A fire has broken out in a villa in Stora Mossen in western Stockholm. The emergency services on site with extensive resources to try to get the fire under control.
– There is a fire in the construction between two floors. We have three stations on site and are working to get the fire under control, says Alexander Westerberg, command operator at the Rescue Service.
According to the emergency services, no one should be left inside the villa and they have no information that anyone is injured.
