Several perpetrators are being hunted after the assault
A person has been abused in Fruängen in southern Stockholm. The alarm was received by the police at 20.26.
The police are looking for 4-5 perpetrators, at the beginning of the search a police helicopter was used.
– At the moment no one has been arrested, says Pia Glenvik press spokesperson at the police.
The person who was assaulted is said to have managed with minor injuries.
– I see that the ambulance has been recalled, so I interpret that as there were no serious injuries, says Pia Glenvik.
Three injured in knife attack
Three people have been injured in a knife attack near the European Commission’s headquarters in Brussels, writes TT.
One must be critically injured.
The attack took place at the subway station Schuman on Monday afternoon.
It is supposed to be a perpetrator armed with a knife. He was arrested shortly after the attack.
According to a source with insight, he is already known to the police due to his “mental problems”.
Villa on fire – “flames shoot out from the roof”
There is a fire in a villa in Molkom outside Karlstad.
The alarm came in at 8:45 p.m. Eight units from the rescue service have been alerted to the scene.
– Two have already arrived. They have reported back that they see flames shooting out from the roof and attic of the villa, the rescue service tells NWT.
According to the police, there is a fire upstairs. All residents are said to have gotten out and no one appears to have been injured.
Man beaten with affection – taken to hospital
A man has been beaten by three perpetrators in Älmhult, according to the police.
– He must have been beaten with some kind of affection, says Jimmy Modin, at the police command center.
The alarm came in at 6:22 p.m. and the man was taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of the damage is still unclear.
A report of serious assault has been made.
No one has been arrested and the circumstances surrounding the assault are still unclear.
Sixth police officer is suspended after the fatal beating
Tire Nichols was beaten on January 7 of this year by five police officers in Memphis, Tennessee. Three days later he died as a result of his injuries.
The officers were fired this weekend after the images from the intervention were made public.
Now another police officer is suspended from his duty, a spokesperson for the police in Memphis states New York Times.
It is not yet clear what role the sixth police officer played in the intervention.

Police action at Östermalm
The police are currently at an address on Östermalm in Stockholm.
– It is about a person who was angry and shouted in an apartment all day. Now we received an alarm that another voice was heard from the apartment, says Rebecca Landberg, press spokesperson for the police in the Stockholm region.
It is currently unclear if there are two people in the apartment and what is happening.
– We are there to check this right now, says Rebecca Landberg.
Finnish police: Would not allow Koran burning
A demonstration where the aim was to burn a Koran would not be approved by the Finnish police.
This is what the Finnish National Police Agency tells the news agency STT.
Burning a Koran or any other holy book is considered an offense against the peace of faith.
If someone were to burn a Koran, the police would intervene, says Chief Inspector Vesa Pihajoki.
– With us, it is not usual to express one’s freedom of speech by burning the Bible or the Koran during demonstrations. This is not behavior that would automatically be protected, as it is fundamentally criminalized, says Kimmo Nuotio, professor of criminal law at the University of Helsinki
Head-on collision between truck and car
An accident occurred on road 155 at Vädermotet, just west of Gothenburg, at around 5 p.m.
It is a truck and a car that collided head-on. Right now it is unclear if anyone is injured.
Three lanes are closed and there are major disruptions in traffic.
– Ambulance and police are on site and we are in the process of moving the cars, says the Greater Gothenburg rescue service.
Big fight at high school – police search buses
A big fight has taken place at a high school in Huddinge. The police are now searching buses in the area to find students who have been involved in the fight. According to the police, it is about 20 people.

School received a letter with an empty sleeve
The police in Gnesta were called to a school on Monday morning after they received a letter containing an empty cartridge case. The police are classifying the incident as illegal threats against a group at the moment, reports SVT News Sörmland.

Iran summons Ukrainian diplomat: “Prejudiced statements”
The Iranian regime has summoned a Ukrainian diplomat in protest. Iran believes that the diplomat expressed “prejudice” about a drone attack that recently took place in the country, TT reports.
A Ukrainian presidential adviser had linked Iran’s support for the Russian invasion of Ukraine with the drone attack on a military facility in Iran on Twitter.
It is the logic of war that accomplices must pay, he wrote, adding: “Ukraine warned you.”
The tweet prompted Iran’s foreign ministry to summon a diplomat and ask for an official and immediate explanation from the Ukrainian government.

“You who receive a general pension from the Pensions Authority do not have to do anything, you receive the money into your account as you usually receive your pension,” Swedbank writes on its website.
