At least 20 dead in fire at nursing home
On the morning of Christmas Eve, a fire broke out at a nursing home in the city of Kemerovo in Siberia, TT reports.
At least 20 people have died in the fire.
Images released by Russia’s Emergencies Ministry show high flames shooting from a two-story wooden building.
The cause of the fire is still unclear, but Russian media reports that the building was heated with wood-burning stoves.

Customs: Strongly increased imports of nitrous oxide
Customs warns of increased import of nitrous oxide, reports Today’s news.

Man to hospital after serious assault

19-year-old dead in shooting
A 19-year-old man has been shot dead after a shooting at a mall in Bloomington, USA, reports AP.
According to police, it appears to be a gang dispute, and at one point one person pulled out a gun and shot the victim several times. The whole incident lasted about 30 seconds.
Suicide prevention feature removed – on orders of Elon Musk
These days, a suicide prevention feature has disappeared from Twitter. The feature was called #ThereIsHelp, and linked, among other things, to suicide lines. It appeared at the top when users searched for certain things.
But now it has been removed, and by order of the new owner Elon Musk, reports The Guardian.
Neither Twitter nor Elon Musk have responded to the newspaper’s request for comment.
“Boom” for digital services
