At least 20 dead in fire at nursing home

On the morning of Christmas Eve, a fire broke out at a nursing home in the city of Kemerovo in Siberia, TT reports.

At least 20 people have died in the fire.

Images released by Russia’s Emergencies Ministry show high flames shooting from a two-story wooden building.

The cause of the fire is still unclear, but Russian media reports that the building was heated with wood-burning stoves.
