The Last of Us series, adapted from the famous PlayStation classic, will not be released this year, according to the HBO programming chief.

Developed under the leadership of Craig Mazin, who achieved great success with Chernobyl, the script of the series includes Neil Druckmann from Naughty Dog, who also wrote the scenario of the games besides Mazin. He will also direct some episodes of the series.
