Breaking news: White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre announced in a written statement that Biden and Xi will meet in Bali on November 14.
Pointing out that the two leaders will discuss the maintenance and deepening of communication networks between the USA and China, Jean-Pierre also stated that the management of the competition between the two countries, working together in line with the interests and the solution of transnational problems affecting the international community will be discussed.
BIDEN STATED TO VOICE CONCERNS
On the other hand, a senior White House official who briefed reporters about the meeting and asked not to be identified, said Biden would raise concerns about issues such as the Taiwan Strait, human rights violations and China’s “harmful economic actions”.
In addition, the official stated that international issues such as the Russia-Ukraine war will also be discussed during the meeting. (AA)
