Breaking news: There was an explosion in an entertainment center in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. One person was killed and 24 injured in the explosion. In the statement made by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, it was stated that around 03:00 local time, there was an explosion and a fire broke out in one of the nightclubs on Terlan Aliyarbeyov Street in the center of Baku.
In the statement, it was stated that firefighters and rescue teams were sent to the scene and the fire was extinguished in a short time, and Deputy Minister Etibar Mirzeyev went to the scene and made investigations.
Ehsan Zahidov, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, announced that the explosion occurred as a result of natural gas leakage, according to the first determinations. Zahidov reported that the number of dead and injured was tried to be clarified.
