According to AA; Spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov announced that a retaliatory operation was carried out in response to the Ukrainian army’s missile attack on the temporary position of Russian soldiers in Makeyevka in the Donetsk region in the first minutes of the new year.
Stating that the Russian intelligence detected the temporary deployment points of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the city of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region in the last 24 hours, and this intelligence was confirmed by some independent channels, Konashenkov noted that there are more than 700 Ukrainian soldiers in dormitory number 28 and more than 600 Ukrainian soldiers in dormitory number 47 in the city.
Konashenkov claimed that “more than 600 Ukrainian soldiers were neutralized as a result of the large-scale missile attack on these points where the Ukrainian Armed Forces are temporarily deployed.”
In addition, stating that the Russian Air Force shot down 5 fighter jets belonging to the Ukrainian army in the last day, Konashenkov said, “Su-27 near Lozovoye in Kharkiv region, Su-24 near Izyum in Kharkiv region, 2 Su-25 near Novy Donbas and Nikolaypolye, Mig-gun near Veseloye in Donetsk region. We shot down 29 model warplanes.” used the phrases.
UKRAINE KILLED 63 RUSSIAN SOLDIERS
In the past days, Ukraine carried out an attack on a Russian barracks, and Russia announced that 63 Russian soldiers were killed in the attack. In the statement made by Ukraine, it was stated that 400 Russian soldiers were killed.

Pavlo Kirilenko, Head of the Military Administration of the Donetsk region of Ukraine, stated that the Russian army fired 7 missiles at the city of Kramatorsk, and there was no loss of life in the attack.
Kirilenko, in a statement from his Telegram account, evaluated the latest developments on the Donetsk front as part of the ongoing war against Russia in Ukraine.
Noting that Russian forces carried out missile attacks on the cities of Kramatorsk and Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region, Kirilenko said:
“After midnight, the enemy launched 7 rocket attacks on Kramatorsk and 2 on Konstantinovka. An educational institution, an industrial plant and a garage were damaged in Kramatorsk, and an industrial area was damaged in Konstantinovka. Fortunately, there were no casualties.”
Kirilenko noted that Russian forces also attacked the city of Horlivka in the region, and a civilian was killed.
