Breaking news: US President Joe Biden spoke at the border with Ukraine. Addressing the American soldiers at the military base on the Polish-Ukrainian border, Biden said, “I thank you for your service.”
TALK TO SOLDIERS AFTER EATING PIZZA
Having completed his contacts in Brussels in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Biden went to Poland today and arrived in the city of Rzesnow. Biden visited the US 82nd Airborne Division base in the city and chatted with American soldiers. Eating pizza with the soldiers in the base’s cafeteria, Biden later addressed them.
“I AM HERE FOR ONE SIMPLE REASON”
Biden said, “What you are doing right now is very important for the whole world. We are at a turning point. I thank you all one by one.” used the phrases. In his speech, Biden said, “We are here to defend democracy and prevent violence. Your work is really decisive. We have a sacred duty. My son served in Iraq, he served in Kosovo. You will be on the side of Europe. I thank you for these as well. You guys are the best. I’m here for one simple reason, to thank you.” used the phrases.
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin accompanied Biden on his visit. Biden is scheduled to travel to the Polish capital, Warsaw, later in the day, and meet with Polish President Andrzej Duda tomorrow.
During the meeting, Biden is expected to thank Duda for welcoming Ukrainian refugees.
