The bodies of 7 people, 4 of whom were Turkish, were found in the helicopter. Regarding the accident, Bülent Eczacıbaşı said, “Unfortunately, we lost 4 of our very young, very successful and brilliant friends.” On the other hand, a heartbreaking detail emerged in the falling helicopter.

The wreckage of the Agusta Koala “AW119” type helicopter, which disappeared from the radar around Modena after taking off from Capannori Tassignano Airport in Lucca, Italy to Treviso, was found. It was reported that the bodies of 7 people, including 4 Turkish citizens working in Eczacıbaşı Holding Consumer Products, were found.

According to the news of Cevdet Özdemir and Uğur Erkan Demircan from Sabah, on the third day of the search efforts, which were carried out with difficulty due to the dense woodland and lack of GSM coverage, a mountaineer hiking in the area saw some burned wood and metal remains.

The teams reached the wreckage of the helicopter and the dead bodies of 7 people at an altitude of 1922 meters in the Cusna region of the Apennine Mountains between Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna regions.
