Coach of Akilles in Porvoo Jari Hyttinen is not swallowed by a player from Pori Narukerä Tuomas Antikainen To the People of Satakunta (you move to another service) explanations of what happened in the ice band Bandyliga semi-finals on Sunday.
Antikainen, 21, was considered to have kicked Akilles in the match Denis Sadakovia with the blade of his skate. Hyttinen posted a video of the situation on Twitter, in which he said Antikainen had still kicked Sadakov in the head.
In an interview with the People of Satakunta on Friday, Antikainen said that he considered Hyttinen’s accusations unreasonable, but Hyttinen did not back down in his opinion. According to Hyttinen, Antikainen’s reaction was quite assumed.
– I have given him another chance, even though he has been fooling me quite a few times over the years, Hyttinen said in an interview with Sporten.
Hyttinen spoke to Antikainen on the phone on Tuesday and said he wished the player had called to apologize to Sadakov and apologize for his own actions.
– That conversation lasted ten minutes and ended with the last minute he barked at me. I said that maybe it’s better to stop here, thank you for the call and hang up, Hyttinen said and kind of said he was expecting some kind of attack.
– I have said that attack is often the best defense. Nowadays, especially when there is room for all sorts of sayings in the newspapers as well.
“If someone wants to believe in such lies …”
Antikainen was not penalized for the game situation, but received an internal penalty from the team. He is not a member of Narukerä’s team today.
In an interview, Antikainen admitted that he had slipped towards Sadokov and stated that it was an exaggeration, and in no case acceptable. However, in the video shared by Hyttinen, he thinks the situation is worse because the video has been slowed down. According to Antikainen, after the match, the players shook hands with each other.
In an interview with the People of Satakunta, Antikainen says that he has forwarded an apology to Sadakov through Hyttinen and, in his own words, would have apologized directly to Sadakov if he had received a Russian player number from Hyttinen. According to Hyttinen, this has not happened.
Hyttinen says he doesn’t know what the players have discussed on the field and he says all sorts of things are often said in his anger on the field.
– Tuomas Antikainen is always the one who screams from start to finish in every game. He also goes to the coaches for us, Hyttinen said.
– He completely tells lies about what he claims to have said to him. If anyone wants to believe in such lies, just that, but they have nothing to do with reality.
Bad sign right at the beginning of the call
Hyttinen says that he immediately guessed that the call between him and Antikainen would be difficult, as the player immediately raised the video shared by Hyttinen.
– It was a bad sign, of course, that he kind of denied both things. First, he kicks the blade above directly into the other ankle. It is, for example, a penalty of five matches directly in hockey, Hyttinen reminded.
– After that, he continues the situation and kicks another kick towards Den. Whether it hits the shoulder or the head, I don’t know, but I don’t think it matters.
Hyttinen told Urheil on Tuesday that Narukerä had apologized for the matter. The referee of the match also apologized for this from his own point of view. According to him, the line had been too permissive in the match and the grips hardened towards the end.
The Akilles of Porvoo, who won two consecutive Finnish championships, advanced from the match with a 4–2 victory to the finals of the Bandyliiga. Tuomas Antikainen, on the other hand, had too much semi-finals and announced that he would end his career.
