Last minute: The distribution of the domestic vaccine, TURKOVAC, produced in Şanlıurfa, started after receiving the emergency use approval. 150 thousand doses of vaccine were sent to Ankara with a ceremony.
Yesterday, with the participation of Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca, the vaccines started to be produced in the online program attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the TURKOVAC production facility in Şanlıurfa Organized Industrial Zone, and started to be distributed to Turkey.
CEREMONY ORGANIZED
A ceremony was held at the facility for the first 150 thousand doses of vaccine produced. It was stated that the vaccines transported to the specially designed truck on pallets will go to the warehouses of the Public Health Centers in Ankara.
