Last minute: TRNC President Tatar accepted the resignation of the UBP-DP and YDP government.
According to the news of BRT, TRNC Prime Minister Faiz Sucuoğlu made a change in the cabinet and demanded the dismissal of Finance Minister Sunat Atun, but this request was not accepted by Tatar. Sucuoğlu then submitted the government’s resignation.
After the meeting between Tatar and Sucuoğlu, which lasted for half an hour, the resignation of the government was accepted. (DHA)
