A bomb attack was carried out during Friday prayers at a mosque in Pol-e-Khomri city of Baghlan province in northern Afghanistan. Baghlan Information and Culture Department Director Mustafa Hashimi said, “There was an explosion in Imam Zaman Mosque, there are dead and injured people.”
While Hashemi did not give an exact number of deaths and injuries, he stated that the details would be shared after the first evaluations. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. (AA-IHA)
