WHO Europe Director Dr. Kluge emphasized that an informative presentation was made to the WHO Board of Directors regarding the earthquake in Turkey and Syria, and stated that a Level 3 Emergency was declared. Dr. “I appreciate and appreciate the first responders, including WHO staff at our field office in Gaziantep, who responded when their own lives were in danger,” Kluge said in a statement.
