The police in the city of Colleyville, Texas, said in a statement on its Twitter account, that a gunman took people in a synagogue hostage about 3 hours ago. While the synagogue was evacuated due to the incident that alarmed the police, it was reported that the negotiations continued.

Pointing out that during the morning mass, the attacker entered the synagogue and took everyone inside, including the Jewish cleric and rabbi, hostage, and it was noted that the SWAT team was also involved in the incident.
While no clear information on the number of hostages was shared, it was reported that the FBI’s negotiations with the gunman are continuing.
