A long-term player of the Oulu Flies, who ended his career a couple of years ago Lasse Kukkonen has been hired as Development Director of Flies.

After ending his career as a player, Kukkonen has worked as a TV commentator, among other things.

Last season, Kukkonen was already involved in the development of Kärppi’s junior players as a mentor for the players. He will work closely with the sports director Harri Ahon with.

Kukkonen will start in his new position at the beginning of May.
