Las Vegas Aces champion again – defended the title in the WNBA

Stars Chelsea Gray and Kiah Stokes were missing due to injuries and the start of the deciding game was not what Las Vegas dreamed of.

The reigning champions were down 13-23, but in the third period Las Vegas stepped up and won a thrilling game 70-69. Thus, they won the final series with a total of 3-1.

A’ja Wilson led Las Vegas and was the big game winner after scoring 24 points. The 27-year-old was named MVP.

The win means that Las Vegas is the first team in 21 years to defend the title in the WNBA.

– Not many people get the chance to do it, and for us to do it twice is really fantastic. That just makes this win that much better,” Wilson said.
