Shortly after the race in Middelkerke, Van der Haar could not be very happy with it. “The top athlete in me is disappointed by the day result, but starting tomorrow I will feel the final win. That is the competitive feeling in me,” he laughs. There is no time to party either. “Tomorrow I just have another competition (in Lille, ed.) So I’m just going to focus on that again.”
