According to Vakin, who is responsible for the water supply, Saturday’s water leak occurred at Språkgränd. The water is turned off and it affects Kandidatvägen 1-34, Språkgränd 1-41, Humaniststråket 15 and Naturvetarstråket 3 and 5.
A water tank is set up at the Socionomstraket, Vakin states.
On Friday, a water leak occurred that affected large parts of Umeå: the central town, Innertavle and Täfteå. In these areas, residents were asked to be sparing with water. The leak was located and repaired during the night. On Saturday morning, the water levels had stabilized, but the appeal that applied was to start using water sparingly at Tomtebo and Tavleliden.
