According to the police, the woman, who is in her 60s, left her home on Monday morning and did not return. At 5 p.m., the police released information that the woman is missing and that the public is asked to contact them if they have seen her.
– However, there is nothing to indicate that she was the victim of any crime, says police spokesperson Anders Dahlman.
“Well balanced resource”
The police have had difficulty using a helicopter in connection with the operation because the cloud cover is low in the search area. Instead, drones, dog patrols and search personnel on foot have been used during the evening.
– We have a well-balanced resource in place, says Anders Dahlman, who in addition does not want to state exactly how many people are part of the search effort.
The missing woman is said to be around 168 centimeters tall, has blonde shoulder-length hair, glasses and was wearing dark clothes and black or gray boots when she disappeared.
