The starting prices for holiday homes have increased by 2 percent during the first quarter compared to the same period last year, according to a press release from Hemnet.

But demand has decreased, 52 percent of all holiday homes that are advertised are sold below the starting price, according to Hemnet.

The price differences are large both within and between counties. The highest prices are in Jämtland, where holiday homes are advertised for an average of 3.2 million. The cheapest is Örebro, with an average of SEK 950,000.
