Danish police are investigating “suspicious circumstances” at Copenhagen Airport. The airport writes on X that a suspicious object has been found.
The security checkpoint is closed until further notice and there is a large police operation in the area.
– In Terminal 2, there is a sea of people waiting to get up the escalator to the security checkpoint, which has been taken out of service. At the same time, the fire doors between terminals 2 and 3 – both international terminals – have been closed, says TV2’s reporter on the spot.
The Copenhagen police state for Ekstra Bladet that evacuations have done at the security area. They do not want to comment on what type of object it is and it is currently unclear how long the operation will last.
