It is not a cheap collaboration – this year Poland is spending a full 4 percent of its GDP on rearmament. But despite the fact that far from everyone in the country is well off, there seems to be no opposition to the country using so much money for defence.

When SVT’s European correspondent Christoffer Wendick visits the capital Warsaw, it turns out that the Poles he talks to think that NATO is just as important to them as it seems to be to the United States.
