The trading site Genesis Markets has been closed following raids by Europol and police in 17 countries. 119 people have been arrested, eight of whom are in Sweden.

Among other things, they are suspected of having bought stolen login details with the aim of being able to commit fraud or other types of data breaches.

As far as Sweden is concerned, there was information from around 16,000 hacked computers containing over 850,000 login details.

Over 1.5 million hacked computers were for sale at the time of the crackdown.
