The costs of repairing damage in the first half of the year are almost SEK 450,000. Among other things, it has involved smashed lighting at the Mogärde tunnel, destroyed code locks at Korsberga school and a sabotaged ventilation system at Skede preschool.
– A sad aspect is that the young people who pass the time with various sabotage do not realize the extra work and the costs it creates. From 2011 until today, approximately SEK 6,428,000 of our tax money has been used up due to vandalism, says Marie-Louise Sollin to Vetlanda-Posten.
