It was late in the afternoon that the emergency services were alerted to a forest fire raging between Svartå and Mullhyttan in Lekeberg municipality.
On site, it was established that there was a fire in an area corresponding to five hectares, and around ten units from the rescue service are working to put out the fire in the area.
According to SOS Alarm, the forest fire is under control and there are no buildings in the risk area. The rescue service expects to be on site throughout the night.
